August Zl, 1926 Childa-Atwoocl W Klunder Residence Will Be Completed for Fall Occupancy One of the many pretty new Wilmette homes which are now being rushed to completion for fall occupancy, is one which A. E. Klunder, n~w residing at 1531 Spencer avenue, Wtlmette, is building at 909 Chestnut avenue, which he hopes to have completed by October 1. The North Shore Homes, Inc., with officies in Chicago, Wilmette and Highland Park, are. builders. The site which Mr. Klunder has chosen for his new home is a beautiful lOt on the south side of Chestnut, wit'h a· frontage of 50 feet and a depth of 185 feet. . He is building an English colonialt brick veneer house, of nine large rooms two baths and an extra lavatorv ~nd with provision for a third bath' room on the third floor. The master bath is of tan colored tile, trimmed in brown. The children's bath is of delicate blue tile. All tubs are provided with showers and are recessed in arched openings in the walls. One of the interesting features of the construction is that the house is iriS'ulated on all sides and under the roof with heavy balsam wool and celotex . .
