In October, 1925, in response to a request for further accot·'modation, the official board placed the building known as 102-l Lake avenue also at the dispo sal of the school. Thi s building has been named the "Young-People's House," and the com pletio n of it equipment is the o~ca sion of a reception to be held Sunday, February 21, hy means of which the Sundav school wishes to sho\\· to the members of the church and other friends of the school, the manner in which these two buildings are heing used for Sunday school purposes. This opportunity will .also he utilized to show the work of some of the other departments of the school, which have their sessions in the church building proper. Display School ·work The middle room on the east side on the second floor is the office of the Sundav school. The attendance records of the school will be on display in this room and will be explained upon request by A. F. Hooper, general secretary of the school. This room is also used by the financial secretary of the school, ]. W. Humphries, and his assistants, Messrs. L. H. Hanawalt, W. Sturgeon and L. N. Osborne in counting and recording the Sunday school collection. A record is kept of each contribution in exactly the same manner as is done bv the Finance committee of the church, and the scholars who make pledges received statements the same as adult subscribers. The finances of the Sunday school are united with those of the church in the combined budget plan and every adult contributor, therefore, supports the Sunday school as well as the church, while every scholar of the Sunday school helps support the church as welt as the school.
