The playwright, l\1rs. John R. Warmington ~ was formerly a rt·sident of Winnetka. The repor.t of the success of the production is herewith quoted in part from a press notice, and wiJJ be of interest to many residents here: "The three plays which were given last Si}turday and l\.1ond ay mghts at the Viljage House in Rav :nia by the arts committee of the \\'oman's CiYic club of Ravinia, ~tre not only a personal triumph for l\1 rs. ] ohn R. \Varmington, the playwrig-ht, but also a rare artistic success for the community. "The creatiYe power and talent concentrated in the Ravinia section of Highland Park is SO!llething of which this suburb may he justly proud. for the entire production was the work of the artistic talent of residents of Ravinia. "Under the ah1e direction of Mrs. Frank C. Pevraud, well known artist and chairma~ of the arts committee, not only th e scenery and costumes were designed and made, hut the staEring, settings, and coaching of the plays were accomplished b\· the artists and actors them selves.
