The new institute, established by the National Associataon of Real Estate boards to conduct a national. home-study course in real estate, is· drawing its students from men already in the business and from men preparing to enter it. A recent check of its first hundred enrollments shows sixteen of these to have had a college education. Of this group two hold degrees in law as well as an academic degree. Yale, Princeton, Dartmouth, New York university, Leland Stanford university and the University of California are represented. One student comes to real estate from training at West P61nf, and one from training in 'the· School of Mines of the University of Minnesota. The University of Maryland, through M. A. Clemens, dean of the Collqe of Commerce, has taken steps to add to its equipment for real estate courses the material 011 best methods now in use in the real estate business which has been collected by the National Association of Real Estate boards and organized in the lessons on real estate practice now bein gissued by the institute.
