Body Will Join Civic Parade In Evanston There is an increa si ng buz of interest among all the churches of the village as the plans for the big Union church picnic begin to take shape. It is to be an all-day affair, held at the Glenwood Forest Preserve, Saturday, June 14. Committees are busily at work arranging for athletic events and recreational feature s, a complete list of which will be announced next week. The transportation committee has arranged with the North Shore line for the use of the big buses between \Vilmctte and the picnic grounds, so no one needs to stay home. The churches and the church schools will stage a big parade on Friday eve ninl!'. prccceding the day of t he picnic, headed by bands, when the various church organizations and. groups w~ll parade the streets of the village. A real competition is being developed to see which school will have the most members in line.
