At the close of the second season of our orchestral association, and in the knowledge that the succe. s of next season i assured, I wish to acknowledge the genuine help rendered to the north shore community, in this cooperative enterprise, by WILM£Tn: LrFt and your other publications within the township. Perhaps the greatest difficulty in community endeavor of this character is the work of keeping in touch with a large number of subscribers in four different villages. The news stories and reviews of the symphony concerts carried in your publications have been very helpful in keeping alive interest, and informing our public of the progress of the work. This to my way of thinking is one of the chief functions of a good community newspaper. HERBERT B. MULFORD, President, New Trier Orchestral Associatio~.
