Miss Irene E. Smith of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., formerly of Wilmette, died Jan. 18 in a Chicago hospital. Miss Smith moved from her home at 725 Sheridan Rd., Wilmette, in December. She had been a reader at the First Church of Christ Scientist in the Village. Surviving are two nieces, Mrs. Colette Kelly of Chicago and Mrs. Marion Haas of Evanston. Private funeral services were held Jan. 20.
