Albert J. Rassenfoss, 73, of 2349 Schiller Av., Wilmette, died Jan. 17 in Evanston Hospital. Mr. Rassenfoss was the founder and former owner of Rassenfoss Bag Co. in Glenview. He belonged to St. Joseph parish, served 12 years as an usher in the church, and was a member of the Holy Name Society. He was also a fourth degree Knight of Clumbus and was active in the Senior Citizens Club. A native of Cincinnati, Mr. Rassenfoss moved to Wilmette in 1928, to Kenilworth in 1938, and back to Wilmette 10 years ago. Surviving are his wife, Philmina; four daughters, Sister Carol of Indianapolis, Mrs. Joan Westfall of Kenilworth, Mrs. Arlene Hanley of Wilmette, and Mrs. Mary Ann Liska of Broadview, Ill.; and 13 grandchildren. Funeral services were held Jan. 20 in St. Joseph's Church. Burial was in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
