Harvey R. Mason of 2326 Winnetka Rd., Northfield, died Monday in his home. Mr. Mason was the founder of the Mason Chaplin Travel Company, Inc., at 600 Green Bay Rd., Kenilworth. He had been in the travel business for 25 years and was a specialist on the Orient. He was the great-grandson of Roswell B. Mason, mayor of Chicago at the time of the Chicago fire. Surviving are his wife, Midge; two daugthers, Mrs. Sherle Beard and Mrs. Marsha Montroy; a son, Edward H.: two sisters, Mrs. Virginia McCall and Mrs. Elvira Ross; a brother, Capt. E. G. Mason; and one granddaughter. Memorial services were held Feb. 11 in Christ Church on the Hill, Winnetka. Memorial contributions may be made to the Skokie Valley Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
