Dr. John L. Riley, 88, of 1317 Maple Av., Wilmette, died Dec. 30 in the Normandy House in Wilmette. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Mary E. Lindh, Mrs. Anna F. Petterson, and Mrs. Letita M. Richey; a son, Francis E.; two sisters, Mrs. Marie [damaged] and Miss Elizabeth Riley; 22 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Requiem mass was said Jan. 2 in St. Francis Xavier Church. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Evanston.
