Hubert F. Wehlitz, 63, of 231 Tenth St., Wilmette, died Saturday in his home. He had been an electrical engineer for Illinois Bell Telephone company for 44 years before retiring in February. A village resident for 10 years, Mr. Wehlitz also was a deacon in the Wilmette Baptist Church. Survivors are his widow, Lou; a so, Albert W. of Evanston; a daughter, Mrs. Thomas Shaffer of Danville, Ill.; and seven grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday at John L. Hebblethwaite, In. of Evanston. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.
