Leo A. Loumbas was the first Greek American from Chicago killed in World War II. He will be remembered October 14 for the 70th anniversary of his death at Saints Peter and Paul Greek Orthodix Church, 1401 Wagner Rd., Glenview. Photograph of Loumbas.
