Preschoolers Get Vision Tests The Evanston-North Shore Health Department is conducting free vision tests for preschool youngsters in co-operation with the Illinois Society for the Prevention of Blindness. Certified, trained technicians from the staff of the state organization do the actual testing, and refer youngsters who need help to their own ophthalmologist or optometrist for further treatment. testing or The next testing session will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Monday in the health department, 1806 Maple Av., Evanston.
