- Gaynor, Marcia Ewing Born February 23, 1919, passed away August 9, 2011. Born in Des Moines, Iowa, Marcia lived all of her adult life in Evanston, IL and married the late Mark Patrick Gaynor in 1939. Beloved mother of Mark (Barbara) Gaynor of St. Louis, Missouri, Mary Lou (Bill) Smith of Evanston, IL, Joanie Wilkins of Evanston, IL, Betsy (Paul) Jagiello of Geneva, IL, Nancy (Jack) Newborn of Thomasville, Georgia; loving grandmother of Marcy Lange, Billy Smith, George Wilkins, Stephanie Headstream, Melanie Palermo, Sally Newborn, Charlie Wilkins, Garrett Smith, Nick Wilkins, Karen Morris, Joe Newborn, and Sarah Petro; proud GG of Maddie, George, Gus, and Lula; many nieces and nephews and many friends at Three Crowns Park. Services have been held. Funeral Mass was held Friday at St. Nicholas Church, 806 Ridge Ave., Evanston, IL 60202. Donations may be made to Three Crowns Park, 2400 Colfax, Evanston, IL 60201.
