George A. Steffens, 80, died Tuesday of last week in his home at 1527 Wilmette avenue, Wilmette. He is survived by his widow, Agnes, and four sons, Joseph D. of Chcago, Walter, at home, Robert C. of 1739 Jefferson street, Glenview, and Harvey, 1713 Foret avenue, Wilmette. Other survivors are a daughter, Agnes M. of Berlin, Wis.; a brother, Peter of 1529 Wilmette avenue, Wilmette; and three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Dix and Mrs. Marie Eklund, both of Chicago, and Mrs. Florence Popple of 2012 Schiller avenue, Wilmette. Mass was said Friday in St. Francis Xavier Church. Burial was in All Saints Cemetery.
