The William Forest family of Chicago have taken up their residence here for the summer.
Mr. and Mrs. Roger Sullivan have leased the R. W. Patton place overlooking the lake for the summer.
Mayor Hawkins and several members of the city council were entertained at a dinner given by Mayor Durrel of moraine Thursday night.
Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Plamondon of Chicago with their children have taken the Anson Morgan home for the summer. They expect to move early next month.
Dr. S. Hall Young occupied the pulpit in the Presbyterian church last Sunday. He related many interesting experiences in conducting mission work in Alaska.
Mr. and Mrs. A. Montgomery Ward, who have recently returned to Chicago from their winter home in California, are expected in Highland Park in a few weeks to open their country place here.
Mrs. Paul Smith and daughter, Mrs. Kennith Cowan, and her children, who have passed the winter in Santa Barbara, cal., will return next week and open their home in 226 Hazel avenue.
Miss Dorothy Clark left Saturday for West Point, N. Y., where she will visit her sister and brother-in-law, Lieut. and Mrs. George Francis Patten, for a short time. She will then go to New York, where she will complete a course in dancing and later visit in Washington, D. C., and London, Conn.
