- Betrothal of John P. Hermes and Florence Conway Announced The engagement of Miss Florence Conway, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. F. Conway, 6208 Sherican rod, Edgewater, to John P. Hermes of 727 Madison street, Evanston, has been announced, the wedding to take place the early part of June. Mr. Hermes has been a prominent golfer at the Evanston Golf club the past seasons and is a member of the Evanston club. He is connected with King, Farnum & Col, and holds a membership on the Chicago Board of Trade. He will leave Evanston and with his bride will take up residence in Sheridan Park.
