The Winnetka Community House hosts a variety of activities including dancing, moving pictures and sports. Miss Taylor's dancing class will give a dancing party in the assembly room this evening. The Boys Club won a baseball game against the Community Squares the first game on Wed. Boys Club member, "Nemo" Hale, pitched a good game. Odh, Voltz and Ilg played good ball. The umpire was Clark. Boys' Club members were: Carpenter, Williams, Kasner, Gotekuns, Haff, Kloepfer and Haines. The Community Squares were: Voltz, Haines [sic] Runnfeldt, Ilg, Wood, Nelson, Walder, Dietz, Odh and Hale. In the second game on Wed., The Business Men played against the Hubbard Woods team. The Hubbard Woods were: Elliott, Taylor, Rose, Stephen, Dean, Ostrom, Hansen, Turvey, Udelhophen and Murphy. The Business Men were: Cazel, Poff, Adams, E. E.; Walker, Adams, A. L.; Stodeur, Dethloff, Dehmlow and Flynn. In the first game Monday, Hubbard Woods played against the Indians. The Indians were: Orwig, Baker, Adams, C. C.: Cheney, Boal and Talbot, C. The Hubbard Woods were: Elliott, H.; Taylor, Rose, Murphy, Dean Elliott, R.; Ostrom, Hansen, Turvey and Udelhophen. The second game on Mon. was played between the Gun Club and the Community Squares. The Community Squares were: Voltz, Runnfeldt, Haines, Ilg, Wood, Duncan, Nelson, Dietz, Anderson and Odh. The Gun Club was: Radner, Knapp, Kloepfer, Knox, Blow, Jasperson and Cazel.
