- At the last meeting of the Evanston City Council, Mayor Joseph Paden complained about promises broken by officials of County Traction(street car operators) about improvements. Other council business included annexation issues, discussed by Alderman H. M. Carter, Alderman James Turncock, and Alderman W. G. Norkett. Some street improvements were passed.
