- Finishing touches are completed on a handsome structure which will serve as a social center here. A reception was held on Tuesday evening. Reception committee consisted of Mrs. Chancellor Jenks, Mrs. Carl Williams, Mrs. C. E. Clifton, Mrs. Elizabeth Boynton Harbert, Mrs. U. S. Grant, Mrs. Jas. [James] A. Patten, Mrs. C. W. Kaufmann, Mrs. Wirt E. Humphrey, Mrs. W. W. Buchanan, Mrs. James Grier, Mrs. Frank Vickers, Mrs. Robert Berry Ennis, Mrs. H. H. Kingsley, Mrs. Robert Gault, Mrs. J. C. Bundy and Mrs. C. P. Whitney.
