Winter, Nancy G. Age 70, a resident of Vero Beach, FL and formerly of Lake Bluff and Winnetka, died October 10, 2011 at her home. Ms. Winter was born in Chicago, IL. She was a graduate of New Trier High School, Winnetka, IL and earned her Bachelor's 20Degree from Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI. Ms. Winter was a jewelry designer. She owned and operated Winter Designs of Vero Beach, FL. She was a member of John's Island Club, Indian River Shores, FL. Survivors include her sons, David Schwartz of New York, NY and Alex Schwartz of Durham, NC and grandsons, Avery Chaplin and Jack Schwartz. Ms. Winter was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Schwartz; son, John Winter and sister, Joan Gallagher. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Riverside Theatre, 3250 Riverside Park Drive, Vero Beach, FL 32963-1877 in memory of Ms. Winter. Services and interment were held privately in Lake Forest, IL. A Memorial service will be held in Vero Beach, FL at a later date.
