The rector will speak on "Faith in God's Purposes" at the 11:00 Sun. service. A series of talks on Christian teaching will be given in the afternoon services. Next Sun. afternoon, "Holy Baptism" will be the topic. The soloist at the morning service will be Carl F. Rohles, tenor and John Quin, baritone will sing in the afternoon. 60 children attended the special service last Thurs. afternoon. The children's talk this week is on "Christ Among the Doctors in the Temple." During Lent, the Woman's guild holds all-day meetings in the parish house. At these meetings, they are sewing clothing for children in church homes. [damaged] At 4 o'clock, evening prayer is read. [damaged] Confirmation class for boys will be Thurs. afternoons following children's service. The girls confirmation classes meet Tues. at 3:45. The Right Rev. C. P. Anderson, the bishop of the diocese, will make his annual visitation to the parish for confirmation, the third Sun. after Lent, April 13, at 11 o'clock. - Date of Publication
