Board meeting
A School Board meeting will take place at 7 p.m. Monday.
Columbus day
School will not be in session Oct. 10 in observance of Columbus Day.
Allergy policy
The new allergy policy can be found by visiting www.stjosephwilmette.com. Some parents have been surprised when they discover that their child’s treat cannot be served but all have been supportive. For more information, call Mrs. Clark.
Garbage collected
The eighth grade is collecting garbage. Lunch kits, chip bags, drink pouches, yogurt containers, candy wrappers and cookie packaging. New collecting bins are in the cafeteria.
Basketball program
St. Joseph will hold the kindergarten-third grade basketball program starting Oct. 29. For more information or to register, contact Dan Sullivan.
Dad’s Bowling League
Dad’s Bowling League is moving to Thursday nights. The league bowls at the Wilmette Bowling Center twice a month on Thursdays starting at the end of September and ending the beginning of April. For more information, contact Steve Santacruz via e-mail at jsteve@schoolhouse4math.com. Bowling skill is not a perquisite.
Volunteer forms
To volunteer at St. Joseph School, in a classroom or on a fieldtrip the following items must be completed: Eapps, CANTS form, Virtus class and Code conduct. Forms and directions are available on the website at www.stjosephwilmette.com.
