Holm, Emmy L. 80, longtime Northbrook resident, passed away July 22, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Ray "Bud" Holm; loving mother of Larry (Vicki), Linda (Paul) Weichsel, Randy (Cindy), Rick (Pat) and Bruce (Diane); proud grandmother of Chris (Karolina), Sean, Johanna, Joshua, Becky, Michael, Bruce, Kim and the late Jenny; great-grandmother of Trevor. Emmy was part of a large family and grew up on a farm in southern Minnesota. Services were held at N.H. Scott & Hanekamp Funeral Home, Glenview on Tuesday, July 26th. Interment will take place in Minnesota. Because Emmy spent so much of her time and energy feeding others, the family asks that memorials go to the Northfield Township Food Pantry, 3801 W. Lake Avenue, Glenview, IL, 60025. Funeral info 847-998-1020.
