- Fred H. Ringde, Secretary of the Industrial Service Movement of the National Y.M.C.A. has been asking Northwestern University students and others to help teach English as A Second Language. This is already happening with college students at the East Coast. The Fireman's Association and Carpenter's and Plumbers' unions have asked their members to help with Rindges' efforts. Next Tues., Rindge will finalize his plans to help foreigners in Evanston learn English.
