Short, Christopher R. Christopher R. Short, 59, of Evanston, May 31, 2011. A teacher for 34 years, the last 21 at Evanston/Skokie Dist 65; an accomplished songwriter and worship leader. Husband of 35 years of Cindy J., nec Winter; father of Charlie (Amanda Bruscino), Cletus (Heather), Chelsea (Malvin) Pambuka and Cece Short; son of Doris (the late Edward) Short; brother of Tim (Nancy), Mike (Donna), and Rich Short and Mary Louise (Carlos) Guerrero; many nieces and nephews. Burial private. Memorial service was held Saturday, June 4, at Vineyard Christian Church, 2495 Howard St, Evanston.
