Klosterman, Charles C. (Died)

Klosterman, Charles C. 89, of Evanston, passed away May 28, 2011. Wonderful husband of Bernice M., nee Saiberlich; father of Judith Anne (Robert) Stigger, James Carl and Barbara Jean Klosterman; grandfather of Kathy and Aaron Stigger. Rev. Klosterman was a United Methodist clergyman and served the northern third of Illinois in The Northern Illinois Conference. He was a very active member of the First United Methodist Church of Evanston and an active member of Evanston Ecumenical Action Council. He served as a member and officer of the Governing Board of the Democratic Party of Evanston for 3 years and a judge of elections for 18 years. He was also a member of the City of Evanston Environmental Board far 8 years, a Kiwanian and Rotarian. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 15th, 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Evanston, 516 Church St., Evanston, IL 60201 with a reception immediately following.
