The following Wilmette students were named to the dean’s list for the second semester 2010-11 at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio: Alexandria Frances Russell; Samuel Hubbard Van Horn; Ross William Piermarini; Alexandra Marguerite Wold; Ian Joseph Nelson-Johnson; Daryl Spencer McSweeney.

Celeste Black and Sarah Hersh of Wilmette were named to the dean’s list for the fall 2010 semester at The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Md.

Benjamin Wagner of Wilmette has made the dean’s list for the fall 2010 semester at the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Colorado, Boulder.

Maura Emily McCune was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2010 semester at Eastman School of Music at the University of Rochester in New York.

Mark Kevin Ingram was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2010 semester at the University of Rochester in New York.

Leslie Deborah Wertheimer of Wilmette graduated with a bachelor of arts in communication arts from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wis.

Laura Johnson and Kerry Lynch of Wilmette were named to the dean’s list for the fall 2010 semester at the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio.

Grace G. Rosean of Wilmette was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2010 semester at Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa.

Michael Dileo of Wilmette earned a bachelor of science degree in finance from Northern Illinois University in De Kalb.

Tess Hayden of Wilmette was named to the dean’s list at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Va.

Victoria Eisenmann of Wilmette was awarded first-year honors at Sweet Briar College for outstanding academic achievement for the 2010 fall semester.

Jacob A. McCartney of Wilmette was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2010 semester at Harpur College of Arts and Sciences at Binghamton University State University of New York.

Rian L. Watt of Wilmette has been named to second honors on the Clark University dean’s list in Worcester, Mass.

Jason Anderson has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2010 semester at Ball State University in Muncie, Ind.

Carly D. Favero of Wilmette was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2010 semester.

The following Wilmette residents graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wis.: Hope Fairclough, bachelor of science in nursing; John Hurley, bachelor of science in business economics; Andrew Joob, bachelor of science in biological sciences; and Brian Post, bachelor of science in biomedical sciences.

The following Wilmette residents were named to the dean’s list for the fall 2010 semester at the University of Iowa: Carly Rae Cohen, Alexander Crider, Melissa F. Curley, Elizabeth Ann Hinkler, Emily Ann Hinkler, Neil Oliver Ledford, Kara Grace Mathis, Gina Marie Nykaza, Michael Andrew Sopko, Natalie Rose Terchek, Julia Tsarpalas.

Emma Moss of Wilmette, an alto in the Lawrence University Choir, performed with the university’s vocal ensemble Cantala at the American Choral Directors’ Association national conference held March 9-12 in Chicago.

The following Wilmette residents have graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Ill.: Jay Heidekat who majored in history and Alexandra Ozaki who majored in biology.

Rebecca S. Lambrecht of Wilmette was honored during Millikin University’s annual Distinguished Faculty Lecture and Honors Convocation program held April 28. She received the Kathryn Paige Torp Memorial Award for a junior or senior student who demonstrates both passion and dedication to their art. She is a senior majoring in theatre.

Douglas William Pemberton was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2010 semester at Syracuse University and Sarah Victoria Pemberton was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2010 semester at Indiana State University. Both are Wilmette residents.

Christine O’Brien of Wilmette was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2010 semester at Tufts University in Medford, Mass.

Benton Howser of Wilmette received a bachelor of arts degree in history from the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Va.

Shannon Clemmons of Wilmette was initiated to the Phi Bea Kappa society at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Allison Hope Wahlgren of Wilmette received a bachelor of music degree from Hope College in St. Holland, Mich. She received a Chapel Choir Exemplary Service Award.

Mark Steven Menaker of Wilmette has recently become recognized as a member of Sigma Alpha Lambda, National Leadership and Honors Organization at the Illinois State University. He is also on the ISU Varsity Baseball Team that won the Missouri Valley Conference title last year.
