Frank, Halbert (Died)

Frank, Halbert Age 89, passed away on May 13th in Wilmette, Illinois. He was born on March 31, 1922 in Akron, Ohio to the late Frances H. and Paul A. Frank. He is survived by his wife, Sue; son, Dr. Edmund Halbert Frank, daughter in law, Dr. Eustacia Su and granddaughter, Valerie, all of Portland, Oregon; brothers, Paul and John Frank of Akron and an extended family throughout the country. After graduation from University School and Babson Institute, he flew as a bombardier in the 8th Air Force in Europe. Following the war, he worked for NRM Corporation, retiring as a vice president and director, and later Spiral Brushes of Hudson and Stow. He and his first wife, Anne Burroughs Frank, lived in Akron for many years. Halbert served on the board of the Litchfield Rehabilitation Center and was a member of Akron Rotary. He loved summers at Glen Lake, Michigan and enjoyed travel to all parts of the world. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and humor.
