Baker, Joan Carol nee Schmidt, age 82, lifelong resident of Evanston. Beloved wife of the late Richard G. Baker; loving mother of Paula Baker, Cheryl (Larry) Flicek and Peggy (Karl) Moro; proud grandmother of Allison (Richard) Quaid, Lisa Rockwell, Timothy Rockwell, Katie (James) Bryant, Meghan Flicek, Alyssa Moro and Mason Moro; dear sister of Richard Schmidt; daughter of the late John and Minnie Schmidt. Visitation was held Tuesday, May 3, 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service was held Wednesday, May 4, 11:00 a.m. at Donnellan Family Funeral Home, 10045 Skokie Blvd. at Old Orchard Road, Skokie. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.
