- Thirty members of Loyola Academy's choir spent spring break on a concert tour of Italy. Choir members included Noah Amad of Skokie, Theophany Blanco of Lincolnwood, Catherine Carini also of Lincoclnwood, Stephanie Ciocchetti of Highwood, Ashley Coleman of Evanston, Marisa Donato of lake Forest, Michael Felish of Wilmette, Madeline Garza of Chicago, Jimmy Hogan of Chicago, Martha Kalisz of Deerfield, Leanne Kelly of Chicacgo, James Kinzel of Wilmette, Gloria Lee of Skokie, Megan Marren of Chicago, Emma McCarthy of Chicago, Amanda Neri of Park Ridge, David Nicolau of Glenview, Calire Pandaleon of Lake Forest, Brian Peterson of Evanston, Greta Ritzenthaler of Wheeling, Trevor Sassen of Green Oaks, Jessica Serrano of Chicago, Casey Shearson of Kenilworth, Samantha Steinle of Chicago, Grace Stuart of Northbrook, Tara Tarazi of Glenview, Christina Ulowetz of Northbrook, Amanda Vullmahn of Chicago and Veronica White of Lincolnwood. Chaperones included director of choirs Christopher Nakielski of Chicago, assistant dean of stuents Lauren Bonner of LIncolnshire and staff accompanist Kevin Wood of Chicago. Parents joining the trip included Julie Donato of Lake Forest, Mary Kelly of CHicago, Cindy McSherry of Chicago, Deborah Neri of Park Ridge and Gary and Joanne Tarazi of Glenview.
This year's Spring Musical was Jason Robert Brown's "13" on March 10-13. Cast members included David Nicolau, Ryan O'Toole, Leanne Kelly, Grace Parker, Danny Connolly, Jimmy Hogan, Frederick Reed, Finta Donnelly, Michael Felish, Cynedra Osinaike, Tara Tarazi, Keeley Miller, Shana Sanchez, Ross Dixon, John Weicher, Catherine Carini, Kristen Noto, Greta Ritzenthaler, Amanda Smith, Aleks Kurzydlowski, Veronica White, Luke McLoughlin, Patrick Sammon, Jack Calk, Alex Bischoff, Alex Boustany, Michele Frehe, Maddy Gross, Julia Kittle-Kamp, Veronica Kittle-Kamp, Michaela McMenamin, Kamryn McPike, Alex Miller, Casey Shearson, Grace Stuart, Amanda Vullmahn, Mariana Weisgal, Alanna Williams, Elizabeth Wittenberg, Gnny Zoufal. At this year's Environmental Student Congress at Amundsen High School in February, Loyola received an award from Friends of the Chicago River for participating in the Adopt a River Program. Attendees included Lara Antonello, Chris Lee, Mariana Weisgal, Tracy Mitchell, Julie Nold, Jennifer Snyder.

Former star thespian Mikey Beddome returned to the school to talk to the Film Studies class of John Rank and the cinematography class of Faye A. Ryan about his experience at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.
Junior Varsity Junior Engineering Technical Society (JETS) won first place at the Tests of Engineering Aptitude, Mathematics and Science (TEAMS) competition in March at IIT in Wheaton.
