Stone, Nancy A. (nee Hempel), passed away March 27, 2011, beloved wife of John Stone, loving mother of Jay, Lori, Jim, and Lynn Stone, cherished grandmother of Caroline and Jack Polales, dear sister of the late Shirley Giacomino and devoted daughter of the late Carl and Catherine Hempel. Nancy was a dedicated Glenbrook South High School Special Education teacher who loved her students and teaching. Visitation Sunday, April 17, 2011, 11:00 AM-1:30 PM at 4 Old Hunt Road in Northfield (Old Hunt Road is on the West side of Sunset Ridge Road, 1 mile North of Willow Road). Service and interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Misericordia Home, 6300 North Ridge Avenue, Chicago IL 60660-1017.
