- The Illinois Attorney General has found that the New Trier High School District 203 board has violated the Illinois Open Meetings Act. The opinion required no penalties, but requested that the minutes of the closed sessions in question be amended supplying a summary of the closed sessions. The investigation and opinion comes following a complaint by resident Daniel Fox concerning a meeting held May 17, 2010. The meeting topic concerned specific personnel and student disciplinary cases, but also included a discussion of underlying policy regarding salaries. Comments by Nicole Dizon, New Trier's director of communications.
