Holman, Dorothy M. (née Crowder) (Died)

Dorothy M. Holman died on February 23, 2011 at The Grove of Evanston following a long illness. She was born May 15, 1925 in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Gabriel E. Barber and Lucille Crowder. A resident of Evanston for more than sixty years, she was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She married Lawson Holman on January 20, 1957. He preceded her in death on August 11, 2009. She is survived by six sisters Polly Ray of Wilmington, DE, Beatrice Marshall of Chicago, Hazel Moore, Jean Barber, and Jeanetta Douglas of Rock Island, IL, and Helen Manley of Davenport, IA - and two brothers-Rev. Gabriel Barber III and Albert Barber of Rock Island. Services have been held.
