A guild for college church women was organized by the Rev. Geo. Craig Stewart, rector of St. Luke's church, Tuesday afternoon at the home of Miss Mary Pope of Evanston. The guild has three purposes: First, to bind together in a parish organization all Epidcopalian young women who come th Northwestern; second, to provide some church work for college chourchwomen which shall take the place of the guild work in their home parishes; third, to encourage interest in the Episcopal church among those college women who are not communicants but who are attracted to that church. At the meeting last Tuesday the following officers were elected: Secretary, Miss Helen Shultz; treasurer, Miss Helen Hardie. Delightful refreshments were served by the hostess. The following officers have been appointed by the rector: Miss Mary Howe Pope and Miss Helen Hart, assistants. The next meeting will be held at the home of Miss Mead on October 24, when constitution and by-laws will be adopted.
