Armstrong, Grace C. (née Homann) (Died)

Winnetka resident Grace C. Armstrong died January 9 at Evanston Hospital. She was 82. Mr. Armstrong was an officer at the Winnetka Bank, where she worked for 47 years, retiring in 1969, and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Wilmette. She was married to the late Robert Armstrong. She is survived by her brothers, Charles Homann of Glenview, Fred Homann of Des Plaines, Iowa, and Robert Homann of Libertyville; her nieces, Charlene Martin and Barbara Jean Otto; and her nephews, Bill, Scott, Craig and Bruce Homann. A funeral service was held Jan. 11 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Wilmette with the Rev. J ames G. Bauman officiating. Entoumbment was at Memorial Park Mausoleum in SKokie. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church ,1235 Wilmette Ave., Wilmette.
