- Mr. Henry A. Pearsons lectured on the topic "What a Boy Saw in the Civil War" at the Evanston Historical Society Dec. 23. Mayor Joseph E. Paden attended the meeting. President J. Seymour Currey opened the meeting. Next week Prof. H. H. Kingsley will lecture on "England" followed by lectures by William C. Levere, Rev. H. P. Smyth, Miss Stella Skinner, PRof. F. W. Nichols, William Hudson Harper.
