- North shore citizens will hold a meeting, Oct. 18, Friday, at the Evanston Commercial association for the purpose of raising an endowment of $100,000 for a contagious disease hospital. James A. Patten has volunteered to build the hospital once this endowment is secured. An association for this hospital will be formed to insure the project is a success.
