- Florence S. Flader, of Buffalo Grove, formerly of Evanston, was born on March 31, 1912 in Escanaba, MI to John and Cecile (nee Adolph) Schoonenberg. She passed away on January 8, 2011 in Buffalo Grove. She is survived by her sons, John (Martha), Gym (Nancy) and William (Joan) Flader; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Brian) Bonney, Patrick (Charlotte) Flader, Shana (Jay) Paris, Bradley Flader, Jaime (Todd) Borgialli, Thomas (Traci) Flader and Douglas (Jamie) Flader; her great-grandchildren, Casey, Taylor, Cannon, Amanda, Kaitlyn, Jake, Spencer, Bella, Lily, Jack, Charlie and Annalise; her sister, Mary (the late Kieran) McGarry; her brother, John (the late Ione) Schoonenberg; and her sister-in-law, Dorothy Schoonenberg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin; her brother, William Schoonenberg; and her sister, Helen (the late Harlan) Welsh.
