- Malvine (nee Ponikwer)LeBlanc, 93, of Glenview died on January 11, 2011, at Maryhaven Nursing Home in Glenview, Illinois. Malvine was born September 2, 1917, in London, England. She married DeNux LeBlanc in London after the war ended in 1945. Survivors include Malvine's daughter, Carolyn LeBlanc-Blatt, her son, Bryan (Karen) LeBlanc, her grandchildren, Robert (Katrina) LeBlanc, James LeBlanc and Jennifer Blatt, her step-grandchildren, Christopher Blatt, Katherine (Jay) Culbertson, and Susannah (Mat) Daly and their families, and of London, England, her sister-in-law, Vivian Ponikwer and her nephew and niece, Duncan (Carolyn) Ponikwer, and Fiona Ponikwer, and beloved relatives. Malvine was preceded in death by her husband, DeNux LeBlanc, her brother Robert Ponikwer of London, England, her brother-in-law, René LeBlanc of Lafayette, Louisiana, and her son-in-law, Richard Blatt of Chicago, Illinois.
