- Unemployment was mixed in November from a month earlier among residents of the Chicago-area suburbs described in the article. All of the towns mentioned have a population of at least 25,000. Unemployment rates are not seasonally adjusted. Wilmette has a labor force of 12,676 with an unemployment rate of 5.6% as of November 2010, down 1% from a year earlier when the unemployment rate was 6.6%
