- Two hundred and fifty "comfort bags" were distributed among the soldiers of Fort Sheridan Sunday by the Woman's Christian Temperance Union. Mrs. C. A. Churcher of Evanston was superintendent of the work for soldiers and sailors. Also mentioned were Frances P. Parks and Mrs. Sara M. Hoge. Chaplain George D. Rice arranged with Colonel Getty, commander of the post, for soldiers to assemble in the chapel for the distribution.
