- Quartet Danae will be on the air nationally on National Public Radio's "From the Top," on Nov. 7. The quartet features cellist Ben Fried, 17, of Highland Park, and violinist, Leah Ferguson, 17, of Wilmette. the quartet which also includes violinists Xavhary Spontak, 18, of Fairbanks, ALaska, and Sophia Cho, 18, of Park Ridge, won the grand prize in the junior division of the 2010 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition.
