- Highcrest Middle School received three Gripp Grant Awards for the "Mission to Mars" program, a software building program designed to replicate a NASA Mars Rover mission. "SmartMusic" software will be tested by band and orchestra students to create at-home customized practice sessions. A new shed and garden equipment will be acquired for the mini-farm. Cafeteria help needed in December and January. HMS Premier Concert Fifth Grade Band and Orchestra will perform Monday at Regina Dominican Auditorium. HMS Winter Music Festival Sixth Grade Band and Orchestra will perform Tuesday at Regina Dominican Auditorium. Highcrest Water Bottles for sale as a fund raising event. The 2010-11 Highcrest Variety Show will take place Feb. 18.
