- S/Sgt. Henry G. Hoffmeyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert H. Hoffmeyer, 1418 Wilmette avenue, Wilmette, was killed in action September 8 in India, according to a notification from the War Department received Thursday of last week by his wife, Judith, of Lake Villa. Sergeant Hoffmeyer, who was 29 years old, was married 2 1/2 years. Sergeant Hoffmeyer was the brother of Robert, Richard, and Arnold.
