- David Vaughn Colbert, 79, of 1209 Hull Terrace, Evanston died Saturday at his home. Born in Baltimore in 1875. He married Miss Katherine Joy, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank L. Joy, who lived for many years at 812 Central Avenue. Besides his widow, Mr. Colbert is survived by a sister, Mrs. Louis E. Packer, of San Francisco.
Mr. Colbert was one of the first young men from Wilmette to enlist for service in the Spanish-American War. - Date of Publication
