- Ferdinand K. Benzing of Wilmette died August 9 at St. Francis Hospital. Former residents of Kenilworth, the Benzings had lived at 2535 Lake Avenue in Wilmette for the past eight years. He is survived by his wife, Lucie; by three sons, Allan, of Wilmette, Willis, of Wadsworth, Illinois, and Kenneth of Mansfield, Ohio; and by a daughter, Mrs. Marian Louise Bullinger of Evanston. There are four grandchildren, Susan, David, and Sara Benzing, and Bruce Bullinger. A sister, Miss Lillian Benzing, lives in Evanston.
