- Dr. Allan A. Filek of Sun City, Ariz., a former resident of Wilmette, died Jan. 9, 2007, in his 100th year.
Born May 18, 1907, in Chicago.
Survivors include his wife, Maurine; her daughter, Mary McCord (Jerry) Cotter; her two sons, James (Susan) McCord and Warren (Donna) McCord; his daughter, Suzanne (Philip) Henderson; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
