- Lawrence J. Kloepfer, 60, died Aug. 7 in North Ottowa [? damaged] Community Hospital in Grand Haven, Mich. He was a resident of Spring Lake, Mich. Mr. Kloepfer, was the youngest son of pioneer Winnetka residents, Peter and Elizabeth Kloepfer, who lived at 87 Locust Rd. for more than 60 years. He was married to Gertrude Vink of Winnetka in 1946. He is survived by his wife, Gertrude; four sisters, Rose Trom and Cecilia Mieno of Northfield, Agnes Martell of Glencoe and Sister M. Bernarde of Addison; one brother, David of Northbrook; and several nieces and nephews.
