- Funeral services for the Rev. Canon Russell K. Johnson were held Friday at the Church of the Holy Comforter in Kenilworth. The Rev. Canon Johnson died Nov. 28 in Evanston. He was 95. Born July 12,1911. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marion (nee South). Survivors include son Keith (Barbara) of Glenview; daughter Gretchen Vince) Quinn of Evanston, formerly of Wilmette; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
